DFT Football Club, founded in 2010/11 as Tibeb Belijenet, is a community-focused club dedicated to both football excellence and personal development. With 14 trophies to our name, we unite society through football, promoting inclusivity, teamwork, and youth empowerment.

OurHistory
DFT Football Club was originally founded as Tibeb Belijenet during the 2010/11 season. A year later, we adopted the name DFT Football Club. In our founding year, we secured third place in a competition hosted by Bole Sub City. The following year, we won our first competition with the Under-17 boys in a tournament organized by Woreda 05 residents.
Our success continued in the 2013/14 season when we won a competition hosted by Gergi Football Club without losing a single match. We followed this with a victory in the Gulele Sub City competition during the 2014/15 season.
Since the 2016/17 season, the club has won 12 additional trophies, bringing our total to 14. We have also been recognized with two character cups, reflecting our commitment to sportsmanship and integrity. Today, DFT Football Club proudly fields teams in the Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories, continuing our legacy of excellence.
